上海西岸的艺术版图上，“红雀围”绝非单纯的餐饮空间—— 它以 “归巢” 为魂，将海派摩登的旧日风情、红雀图腾的生命灵性，与能量流转的深层哲思揉为一体，让每位踏入这里的人，都能找到身体的休憩处与心灵的避风港。这里既有对时光的回望，也有对生命本质的叩问，更有对都市人情感归属的温柔回应。

On the artistic map of Shanghai’s West Bund, “Red Hotpot” is far more than just a dining space. With “Homecoming” as its soul, it seamlessly weaves together the retro elegance of Shanghai modesty, the vibrant life spirit of the cardinal totem, and the profound philosophy of energy flow. This creates a sanctuary for both the body and the soul for everyone who steps through its doors. It is a place that not only evokes nostalgia for times past and invites profound reflections on the essence of life, but also offers a tender embrace to the emotional longing of urban dwellers.

设计初心：双重归巢，一场心灵的溯源

Design Origin: Dual Return to the Nest, A Journey of Soulful Root-Seeking

设计的灵感，藏着两份深深的 “回归”。一份是文化的归巢，是对老上海 Art Deco风潮与东方情致相融的海派美学的重拾；另一份是生命的归巢，以红翅旋壁雀这只 “悬崖上的蝴蝶鸟” 为图腾，诉说着庇护、栖息与孕育的生命故事。除此之外，空间还暗合着能量转换的隐喻 —— 人与食物的依存，人与空间的互动，都在这里化作无形的能量流动。红色金属骨架像藏在空间里的生命脉络，金属羽毛则似被唤醒的能量粒子，在光与影的触碰中，悄悄完成从物质到精神的升华。

The design’s inspiration embodies two profound senses of “return.” The first is a cultural homecoming, a revival of the Shanghai-style aesthetic that harmonizes the old Shanghai Art Deco movement with Oriental charm. The second is a life homecoming, centered around the red-winged nuthatch, known as the “butterfly bird of the cliffs,” which serves as a totem, narrating the life stories of shelter, habitation, and procreation. Beyond this, the space subtly conveys the metaphor of energy transformation. The interdependence between humans and food, as well as the interaction between humans and the space, all here transpire as invisible energy flow. The red metal skeleton resembles the hidden life veins within the space, while the metal feathers resemble awakened energy particles. In the subtle interplay of light and shadow, they quietly accomplish the transcendence from the material to the spiritual.

Cultural Grain: The Gentle Shanghai-Style Transformation of Art Deco

提起老上海的摩登，Art Deco 绝对是绕不开的篇章。当年这股风潮跨越大洋来到黄浦江畔，没有被生硬复制，反而与东方韵味悄悄相融，成了独有的海派风情。红雀围的入口，就是一封写给那个年代的视觉情书：中轴对称的玫瑰金金属框架，搭配着通透的曲面玻璃，既显挺拔又不失轻盈；门楣上刻着的Art Deco放射形几何纹样，像一串穿越时空的密码，一推开门就踏入了旧日摩登。▼轴测图，axonometric©浆果设计研究所

When talking about the modern elegance of old Shanghai, Art Deco is undoubtedly an indispensable chapter. Back in the day, this design trend crossed the ocean to the banks of the Huangpu River. Instead of being copied rigidly, it quietly blended with Oriental charm, evolving into a unique Shanghai-style charm. The entrance of Red Hotpot is simply a visual love letter to that era: The rose-gold metal frame with central symmetry is paired with transparent curved glass, looking both upright and elegant yet light and graceful. The Art Deco radial geometric patterns carved on the lintel are like a time-crossing cipher; push open the door, and you step straight into the modernity of old Shanghai.

室内更是一场 “西形中魂” 的温柔对话。工笔雕花的木墙板，对着几何拼花的地板低语；丝绒的柔、金属的锐、石材的润、木质的拙，不同时代的材质在这里握手言和。西式的餐桌上，挂着带着东方意象的红烛灯具，暖光洒下来，让用餐变成了一场跨越时空的审美漫游，把海派文化兼容并蓄的气度，悄悄融进了每一个角落。

Inside, the space unfolds as a gentle dialogue of “Western Form, Eastern Soul.” The exquisitely carved wooden wall panels whisper to the geometrically inlaid floorboards. The softness of velvet, the sharpness of metal, the smoothness of stone, and the simplicity of wood—materials of different eras, meet and harmonize here. Above the Western-style dining table hangs a red candle lamp with Oriental imagery. As the warm light spills down, dining becomes an aesthetic journey across time and space, quietly infusing every corner with the inclusive grace of Shanghai-style culture.

图腾诗意：红雀羽翼下的空间叙事

Poetic Totem: Spatial Narratives Under the Wings of Cardinals

品牌核心符号 “红翅旋壁雀”，成了空间最灵动的笔触。散座区的上空，双曲结构的金属框架搭出了巨型羽翼的轮廓，不是呆板的对称，而是带着自然起伏的弧度，像鸟儿翅膀的骨骼与肌肉，藏着生命的韵律。上万片红色金属 “羽毛” 都是手工调整过的，在自然光和人造光的交织下，光影掠过，便泛起粼粼波光，就像装置《鸿光羽徊》里描绘的，鸿雁在天光下徘徊的诗意。

The brand’s core symbol, the red-winged nuthatch, has become the most vivid brushstroke in the space. Above the casual dining area, a double-curved metal framework outlines the shape of giant wings. Instead of rigid symmetry, it features naturally undulating curves, like the bones and muscles of a bird’s wings, concealing the rhythm of life. Each of the tens of thousands of red metal “feathers” has been manually adjusted. Under the interweaving of natural and artificial light, as light and shadow flicker, they shimmer like ripples—echoing the poetic imagery depicted in the installation Hong Guang Yu Huai (A Swan’s Wandering in the Light), where swans wander beneath the celestial glow.

地面的黑白双色马赛克石材密拼，藏着另一个巧思 —— 那是雀翼上的黑白斑点被抽象化后的样子，像从空中飘落的羽鳞，又像投入静湖的石子泛起的涟漪，把天空的意象拉到大地，让整个空间的叙事形成闭环。最动人的是 “羽翼” 正下方的圆形卡座区，微微内凹的座椅裹着暗色绒布，像一个个温暖的小巢穴。坐进去抬头，朱红色的 “羽翼” 低垂着，不是遥不可及的装饰，而是实实在在的庇护，就像雏鸟依偎在亲鸟的羽翼下，那种被包裹的安全感，既踏实又温暖。就连门把手，都被设计成了白水晶材质的鸟卵形状，握在掌心温润如玉。从羽翼的庇护，到巢穴的温暖，再到鸟卵的孕育，整个生命叙事在这里圆满收尾，“红雀” 也从一个品牌符号，变成了能让人触摸、感受、共鸣的生命场域。

The black-and-white two-tone mosaic stones on the floor are laid in a tight joint, hiding another thoughtful detail — they are an abstract representation of the black and white spots on a sparrow’s wings. They resemble scales of feathers falling from the sky, or ripples spreading from pebbles tossed into a still lake, bringing the imagery of the sky down to the earth and completing the narrative loop of the entire space.

The most touching spot is the circular booth area directly beneath the “wings.” The slightly recessed seats are upholstered in dark velvet cloth, like warm little nests. Sit down and look up; the crimson “wings” hang low, not as distant decorations, but as tangible shelter. It’s like a fledgling snuggling under its parent bird’s wings — that sense of being wrapped, safe, grounded, and warm.

Even the door handles are designed in the shape of bird eggs, crafted from white crystal, feeling as smooth and gentle as jade in the palm of your hand. From the shelter of the wings, to the warmth of the nest, to the gestation of the eggs, the entire life narrative reaches a perfect conclusion here. The “red sparrow” has evolved from a brand symbol into a living field that people can touch, feel, and connect with.

场域体验：能量流转中的心灵栖息

Field Experience: Spiritual Repose in the Flow of Energy

走进红雀围，就像走进了一个流动的能量场。红色的金属骨架贯穿全场，是能量传输的脉络；金属羽毛在光影中闪烁，是能量流动的痕迹。你会不自觉地成为这场能量转换的一部分，与食物对话，与空间互动，与同行的人分享，那些内心深处的积极情绪和生命活力，会被悄悄唤醒。

Walking into Red Hotpot is like stepping into a flowing energy field. The red metal skeleton runs through the entire space, serving as the veins of energy transmission; the metal feathers shimmer in the light and shadow, leaving traces of energy flow. You will unconsciously become part of this energy transformation. You converse with food, interact with the space, and share moments with your companions. In this process, the positive emotions and life vitality deep within you will be quietly awakened.

这里的用餐体验，早已超越了单纯的味觉享受。在 “羽翼” 的庇护下，在暖光的包裹中，在海派风情的浸润里，物质的满足与精神的愉悦慢慢交融。这不是一个冰冷的消费空间，而是一个有温度的情感容器 —— 朱红色的穹顶之下，人们围坐在一起，像雏鸟偎依，唤醒了对安全感的本能追寻；Art Deco 的摩登记忆、当代工艺的精致、生命图腾的灵性，层层叠加成独特的时间景观，让人在文化的溯源中，找到属于自己的美学认同。

Here, the dining experience has long transcended mere gustatory delight. Sheltered by the “wings,” enveloped in warm light, and steeped in Shanghai-style charm, the satisfaction of the body and the joy of the soul gradually merge. This is not a cold commercial space, but a warm emotional vessel — beneath the crimson dome, people sit together, like fledglings snuggling close, awakening their instinctive pursuit of a sense of security. Beneath the layers of Art Deco’s nostalgic modernity, the meticulousness of contemporary craftsmanship, and the spiritual vitality of the life totem, a unique temporal landscape is formed. It allows one to discover their own aesthetic identity while tracing the roots of culture.

归巢从不是退守，而是出发前的整理。在红雀围的羽翼之下，我们短暂停留，是为了确认自己从何处而来，汲取一份被庇护的暖意。然后，带着这份温柔的力量，再次展开属于自己的人生飞行 —— 而这里，永远是那个可以回头的 “心之巢”。

Homecoming is never retreat, but the preparation before departure. Beneath the wings of Red Hotpot，we pause briefly to confirm where we come from and to absorb the warmth of shelter. Then, armed with this gentle strength, we spread our wings and embark on our own life journey — and this place will always be the “Heart’s Nest” to which we can always return.
