Concept Overview

CLYMB is an indoor adventure destination centered around the experience of climbing.Our goal was to transform the entrance into an extension of that experience,turning it from a simple gateway into an immersive, engaging moment that attracts, excites, and guides visitors.

Design Approach

We began by analyzing the existing entrance,its visibility, flow, user behavior, and missed opportunities.The original space lacked a clear identity and did not reflect the energy of the activity inside.

From this analysis, we developed a concept based on movement, tension, and vertical exploration,core elements of climbing.

Form Development

The design evolved through a series of sketches exploring angular geometries inspired by rock formations and climbing surfaces.The final form is a composition of dynamic,

intersecting planes that create:

+Visual tension

+Directional movement

+Strong spatial identity

Key Design Elements

1. Climbing Surfaces IntegrationReal climbing walls are embedded into the architecture, allowing the facade itself to become part of the activity.

2. Digital Interaction (Hologram Cylinder)A central holographic feature simulates climbers in motion, acting as a dynamic storytelling element that draws attention and communicates the experience instantly.

3. Fragmented GeometrySharp, faceted forms create a sense of challenge and movement,reflecting the essence of climbing.

4. Material ContrastA balance between raw textures (stone-like finishes) and smooth contemporary materials enhances depth and realism.

5. Lighting StrategyIntegrated lighting emphasizes edges, movement lines, and focal points,especially at night, transforming the entrance into a landmark.

Outcome

The result is a bold, interactive entrance that:

+Strengthens brand identity

+Enhances user engagement before entry

+Turns the facade into an experience itself
