建筑在私密与内省被强调的时刻呈现出坚实而内向的姿态，而在需要与景观及泳池区域建立视觉联系、尤其是承载更多社交属性的空间中，则转而开放而通透。

The architecture adopts a solid and introverted posture in moments emphasizing privacy and introspection, while in spaces requiring visual connections to the landscape and pool areas—particularly those with greater social functions—it transforms into an open and transparent form.

整个项目的饰面语言统一而克制，以自然色调与真实肌理为主，木材、石灰岩、洞石大理石与 Chukum 漆共同构成温和而富有触感的空间底色。空间构成遵循被动式设计原则，并从当地乡土建筑中汲取智慧与尺度。

The projects finish palette is unified and restrained, featuring natural tones and authentic textures. Wood, limestone, travertine marble, and Chukum lacquer collectively form a gentle, tactile foundation for the space. The spatial composition adheres to passive design principles while drawing wisdom and scale from local vernacular architecture.

在济州岛 Bongseong-ri，汉拿山与火山丘和谐交融之处，Watar以精炼的感性捕捉“Tamna（济州岛的旧称）”的美，成为一处沉思与栖居并存的住宿空间。这里将济州的古典景致与由此生发的沉思融入独有的氛围之中，让感性与情绪自然流淌。土地的叙事之美，通过幽微的阴影渐变加深建筑的层次，留下沉静而历经岁月磨砺的优雅印象。

In Bongseong-ri, Jeju, where Hallasan Mountain and the oreums harmonize, Watar rests on the land as an accommodation space capturing the beauty of Tamna through a refined sensibility. We sought to embody Jeju’s classical landscapes and the reflections born from them in a contemplative atmosphere unique to this place—an ambiance that flows into its own sensibility and emotion. The narrative beauty of the land deepens the architecture with a quiet gradient of shadows, leaving an impression imbued with a calm and time-worn grace. Tamna: the old name for Jeju.

将此地命名为 Watar，以承载对美的追求、从土地中汲取的存在本源，以及静静走向这一本源的态度。名字中固有的这种意志自然显现于建筑的材质与感性之中，呈现出一种既根植于自然又指向内在的立场——一种蕴含内在力量的建筑姿态。

This place is named Watar, embodying the pursuit of beauty, the primal essence drawn from the earth, and the quiet approach to this very source. The inherent will within the name naturally manifests in the buildings materials and sensibility, presenting a stance rooted in nature yet pointing inward—an architectural posture imbued with inner strength.
