يقع قصر عابدين بمدينة القاهرة بجمهورية مصر العربية، حيث يوجد في ميدان الجمهورية، بالقرب من المتحف المصري

يعد قصر عابدين، أحد القصور الرئاسية في مصر والمعروف باسم جوهرة القرن التاسع عشر، وشهد من الأحداث التي ساهمت في قيام مصر كدولة مستقلة، واستخدم كمقر للحكم منذ إنشائه عام ١٨٦٣ وحتى عام ١٩٥٢م, كما أنه ‏يعد البداية الأولى لظهور القاهرة الحديثة ففي نفس الوقت الذي كان يجرى فيه بناء ‏القصر أمر الخديوي إسماعيل بتخطيط القاهرة علي النمط الأوروبي من ميادين فسيحة وشوارع واسعة وقصور ومباني وجسور علي النيل وحدائق غنية بالأشجار النادرة

Abdeen Palace is one of the presidential palaces in Egypt, known as the jewel of the nineteenth century, it witnessed the events that contributed to the establishment of Egypt as an independent state, and It was used as the seat of the government from its establishment in 1863 until 1952 AD.

Abdeen Palace marks the inception of modern Cairo. The city that came to life upon orders of Khedive Ismail to turn into a token of European style embracing spacious squares, wide streets, palaces, buildings and bridges on the Nile, gardens with trees and rare palm trees.

يقع قصر عابدين على مساحة 15 فدان، وقد صممه المهندس الفرنسي” دي كوريل روسو” على الطراز النيو كلاسيكي الفرنسي ليكون القصر عبارة عن تحفة معمارية، وواحة خضراء تمتزج فيها اللمسات المصرية مع اللمسات الأوروبية والأفريقية والذي يحتوي علي 500 فرقة وقاعة

Abdeen Palace is located on an area of ​​15 acres, and was designed by the French engineer “De Corel Rousseau” with the French neo-classical style, so that the palace is an architectural masterpiece in which Egyptian touches are mixed with European and African touches, and the palace contains about 500 rooms and halls.

وقد استغرق بناء القصر عشر سنوات متواصلة، وقد بلغ تكلفة القصر ما يقرب من 700 ألف جنيه مصري وقتها، في حين أن تكلفة الأثاث وحده بلغت ما يقرب من مليوني جنيه مصري

The construction of the palace took 10 continuous years to be built, and the cost of the palace amounted to nearly 700 thousand Egyptian pounds at the time, while the cost of furniture alone amounted to nearly 2 million Egyptian pounds.
