Elysian Shade Villa

Elysian Shade Villa is a contemporary retreat that embodies a seamless harmony between architecture and nature, creating a refined and tranquil living experience. Situated on a 1,000 m² plot in India, with a built-up area of 350 m², the villa is defined by its expansive overhanging roofs and deep eaves—both a climatic response and a distinctive architectural language.

Inspired by the idea of “heavenly shade,” the design emphasizes the transition between indoor and outdoor spaces through layered open layouts, large glass panels, and uninterrupted views toward lush greenery. A restrained material palette of natural wood, smooth-finished concrete, and glass enhances the villa’s minimalist yet luxurious character. Natural light is carefully filtered through extended rooflines and shading elements, casting soft shadows that add depth and atmosphere to the space.
