"What it isNt" về bản chất là câu nói của cha đẻ bộ môn trượt ván đường phố Mark Gonzales trong những năm 2000s - "Có thể nó sẽ không xảy ra như bạn muốn đâu, nhưng mà hãy trân trọng nó vì nó đã xảy ra". Và vào năm 2001, sự kiện nghệ thuật đường phố "Untitled 2001" có sự tham gia của Keith Haring đã khích lệ rất nhiều nghệ sĩ khi mà họ có thể tạo ra bất cứ thứ gì họ muốn. Sự kiện này cũng là tiền đề cho thương hiệu What it isNt được hình thành nhằm tôn vinh cái đẹp, cái điên về sự khác thường của nghệ thuật đường phố graffiti và bộ môn trượt ván. Đến năm 2023, What it isNt lần đầu xuất hiện tại Việt Nam với bộ sưu tập "Celebrate Abnormally" - Tôn vinh sự khác thường" collab cùng với nhiếp ảnh gia Tuấn Fr đã cho nhiều người có góc nhìn khác về nghệ thuật đường phố, mặc dù khác biệt nhưng hãy tôn trọng nó vì nó cũng có vẻ đẹp của riêng mình.

"What it isN’t" is a quote from Mark Gonzales - father of street skateboarding in the 2000s: “It may not be what you expected, but just try to appreciate it.” In 2001, an event called “Untitled 2001,” featuring Keith Haring, inspired countless artists by proving that they could create anything they want. This event is also the premise for the formation of "What it isN’t" brand, in order to honor the beauty of graffiti street art and skateboarding culture. In 2023, "What it isN’t" officially debuted in Vietnam with the collection “Celebrate Abnormally” – A Tribute to Unconventionality, collaborating with Tuấn Fr. The project offered audiences a different perspective on street art - It could be weird or somehow different, but just try to appreciate it.
