The Mountain Line Downtown Connection Center (DCC) redefines sustainable public infrastructure in Northern Arizona, combining a strong sense of place with high-performance design. As only the second mass timber building in the state and the first commercial project to achieve Gold under Coconino County’s Sustainable Building Program, the DCC sets a new regional benchmark.
Light-filled spaces promote movement and ease for passengers and staff alike. Passengers benefit from a spacious ticket lobby and public amenities, while staff spaces support operations, wellness rooms, and a community boardroom. A central open stair organizes the staff atrium, promoting daylight equity, comfort, and connection. Ramps at each entrance of the building provide universal accessibility.
