The apartment is located in an innovative park on the grounds of the former Kyiv Motorcycle Plant. This is the hub for all IT events taking place at UNIT.City. The client is a dynamic and young individual who wanted a space that reflects his lifestyle and character. We combined functionality and aesthetics within 56 square meters while preserving a sense of spaciousness.

We partially exposed the structural elements of the space—such as the concrete beam, brick, and load-bearing columns—to highlight their texture and monumentality. Warm tones connect the interior with its surroundings while softening the visual perception as one moves through the space. The use of wood creates a foundation for a sense of home.

Since we didn’t want to emphasize the kitchen, we used a design approach that seamlessly blends the workspace into the backsplash and countertop. These elements extend into the dining area and are made from a single material—large-format porcelain stoneware. Next to it, we placed a custom dining table in a striking wine-red color and a bench by the window, matching the kitchen’s hue.

Modern light-reflecting and color surfaces add intrigue without overwhelming the space, seamlessly blending with the cozy atmosphere.

Behind the door, a spacious, light-filled bedroom unfolds. A subtle partition conceals a functional workspace that remains unobtrusive yet highly practical.

Adjacent to the bedroom is a walk-in closet, accessed through tall sliding doors that add a sense of lightness while preserving space when opened.

Behind the mirrored doors lies the bathroom, finished with tiles and microcement, maintaining the same style and atmosphere as the rest of the apartment.

The bathroom has become a space of grounding—a place where materials, textures, and colors create a sense of balance and tranquility.
