Before we started working on this facility, there was a Georgian restaurant here. And here are some photos from that space.
Task: to create a flagship dental clinic for the Dentaderm network in the central part of Kyiv.
The clinic should include the following facilities: 4 treatment rooms (one of which is surgical), a reception and waiting area, a meeting room, a restroom for patients, a sterilization room, a CT room, a technical room, and a staff lounge with its own restroom.
The clinic is located in a business district of Kyiv, surrounded by upscale residential and commercial properties, it was essential to develop a design project that would blend harmoniously with this environment. The DENTADERM clinic is situated in a business center on Klovskyi Descent. Part of the space features panoramic windows overlooking the main street. Therefore, it was decided to position the main entrance, the meeting room, the reception and waiting area, and one of the dental treatment rooms on this side.
The clinic is designed in a minimalist style, with a color palette limited to white, black, and light oak-textured panels. Each color is represented in multiple forms within the interior. For instance, white is not only used as wall and ceiling paint but also appears as stone-textured tiles in the lobby or white tiles on the walls of one of the treatment rooms. Black is incorporated through door hardware, glass partitions, decorative plaster, black glass, and stone-textured or plain black tiles.
Now, let’s take a closer look at the clinic and the solutions implemented within it.Through the main entrance, you enter a vestibule, and the first thing that catches your attention is a quote by Joseph Addison, rendered in 3D letters matching the wall color and standing out due to the interplay of light and shadow. The vestibule serves two purposes: first, to block cold air from the street, and second, to control access, ensuring the safety of those inside.
To the right of the entrance, there is a small meeting room where a doctor can have an additional conversation or consultation with a client. Alternatively, the administrative staff can use this space to discuss specific private matters with clients if necessary.
To the left of the entrance, you enter the reception and waiting area.As mentioned earlier, since the large façade windows provide a clear view of the clinic's interior, it was essential to create a design that not only looks appealing from the inside but also attracts the attention of people outside.Behind a frosted glass partition featuring a branded pattern is our first “scenic” dental treatment room. Its back wall is decorated with the same particleboard panels as the adjacent rooms, creating a seamless visual transition between spaces when viewed from the outside.
Behind the reception desk, there is a corridor leading to the rest of the rooms. In the corridor, there is a large cabinet that houses the electrical panel, a client wardrobe area with a mirror next to it, a cleaning equipment zone, and ample storage space.
At the beginning of the corridor, on the wall, you can spot another quote executed in the same style as the one in the vestibule. Right next to it is the client restroom. The dominant color here is black, drawing attention to the sink, with the main decorative element being a dinosaur skull. And why a dinosaur? We think you might have guessed already—because of its teeth! 😊
The open corridor walls are finished not only with black decorative plaster but also with black glass panels featuring the clinic's logo. Additionally, the ceiling is exposed to allow easy access for servicing various systems.
Further down the corridor, we reach the sterilization room. It is enclosed by transparent partitions so that patients can observe the processes taking place. The walls and floor are black, creating a contrast that makes the white furniture stand out. On the ceiling, we used our signature light ceiling solution, which provides excellent illumination throughout the sterilization room and adds a futuristic touch to the space.
Opposite the sterilization room, behind the particleboard panels, is our CT room, which also has enough space for a photo zone to document the progress of patients' treatment.
Next to the CT room are three other dental treatment rooms, designed in the same style as the first. However, treatment room number 4 is slightly different, as it is designed for potential surgical procedures. Therefore, the walls are finished with paint, and the necessary outlets for additional equipment are provided.Cabinet 2

Passing between the CT room and the sterilization room, we enter the staff area. Here, there are lockers for changing clothes, a kitchen and dining area, as well as a staff restroom with a shower. Additionally, the staff lounge can be accessed through a separate entrance, which helps to separate the patient and staff entry/exit within the clinic.
As a result, we have created a stylish, modern dental clinic with a wide range of diverse spaces to provide our clients with the highest quality services.
