In the centre of the layout is a large semicircular reading room with a green area, which is the compositional focus of the entire composition. This ensures openness of the space and uninterrupted views. Around the central hall are smaller functional areas - a reading room, workspaces, a media library.

The children's library area can have several transformation scenarios. In the ‘concentration-work’ mode, the space is organised in such a way to provide comfortable conditions for reading, studying and individual work. Furniture is placed more isolated, and quiet corners are created quiet corners for concentration.

If necessary, you can hold an event, for example, children's party or a masterclass, the space can be quickly transformed: tables and chairs can be folded and removed to make room for activities. For holding literary evenings or film screenings, some of the furniture is arranged in an ‘amphitheatre’ format.

The reading room space can also be modified depending on needs. In the ‘concentration’ mode, the furniture is arranged in such a way as to ensure privacy. Individual workspaces are provided for working with desk lamps and sockets for connecting gadgets. If you need a space for communication and collaboration, the furniture can berearranged to form ‘islands’ or shared tables where visitors can interact, exchange ideas, and work on joint projects. For to hold lectures, presentations or discussions, part of the space is transformed into a lecture area.

The design concept of the family-friendly library space is to create a comfortable, functional and aesthetically pleasing environment that would meet the needs and interests of all family members - children, teenagers, adults and the elderly.

The main idea of the concept is to create a multifunctional space that combines traditional library services with opportunities for recreation, communication, creativity and development. The library should become not just a place for information, but also a family leisure centre where every family member will find something to their taste.
