A Chinese-style bedroom
In this design, we've transformed the secondary bedroom on the living and dining floor into a master bedroom, blending Song Dynasty aesthetics with a medieval feel. Functionally, we've placed the wardrobe, missing from the showroom, against the wall. To reduce the oppressive feeling of the wardrobe side near the entrance, we've designed a secondary laundry area here. Clothes worn the next day can be hung here, and the lower countertop can hold a handbag or similar item. The four drawers below feature a color scheme, adding decorative touches to practicality. Near the bedside, we've designed a mini water bar with a hidden water purifier, allowing elders to easily access water when needed. If this were a children's room, it would also be convenient for preparing formula at night.
You'll notice the bedside table is quite wide. This is due to the overall space layout. This bedroom is 3.9 meters wide, the wardrobe is 60cm, the mattress is 1.8 meters wide, and adding the bed frame makes it 1.9 meters. There's still 1.4 meters left. For a master bedroom, we need to allow for the width of a wheelchair, which may not be used but is still a necessary consideration. Therefore, if 90cm is left on the side near the cabinet, then 50cm is left on the other side. This means the bed isn't in the center of the bedroom. In this case, the design surfaces must be parallel lines, not vertical lines. Vertical lines would accentuate the bed's off-center position. For a modern style, asymmetrical design can solve this. However, Song Dynasty-style or medieval styles still emphasize symmetry.
