Havas Lynx Offices by Bluesky Design Interiors

Bluesky Design Interiors redefined the workspace for Havas Lynx Offices in Manchester, crafting a dynamic, collaborative environment that fosters connection and innovation while embracing the building’s industrial character.

After outgrowing its former offices in a Grade II listed building in central Manchester, Bluesky Design was commissioned by Havas Lynx, a leading healthcare communications agency, to support the design of its new Manchester workspace. Following detailed workplace analysis and test-fit studies, 3 Circle Square—part of the Bruntwood SciTech development—was identified as the ideal location for the relocation.

The design vision centred on creating a dynamic, people-focused environment that enables employees to work in ways best suited to their tasks. A range of collaborative spaces, work lounges, and quiet zones are arranged centrally across the floorplates, offering diverse work settings while maximising access to natural daylight. At the core of the workspace is a lively social hub, combining a welcoming reception, café/bar, lounge, and an auditorium-style presentation area.

The material palette remains refined and neutral, enriched with layered textures to achieve a calm, minimalist aesthetic. This is complemented by the building’s industrial character, highlighted through exposed ceilings, visible services, and metal flooring.

Since relocating, Havas Lynx has seen a marked shift in workplace culture. The new environment has turned “office days” into a purposeful destination for connection rather than just a requirement. Key successes include:

• Activity-Based Working: Employees have transitioned seamlessly from traditional desks to a variety of settings, including one-to-one focus booths and flexible project rooms.

• The Social Hub: The kitchen and bar areas have become the office’s heartbeat, facilitating the cross-team visibility that was missing in the previous fragmented site.

• Cultural Reinvigoration: The move has fostered a sense of pride and professional energy, aligning Havas Lynx’s physical environment with its reputation for innovation.
