The complex reconstruction of the Gödöllő Railway Station represents a pivotal modernization of one of Hungary’s key transit hubs. Working in collaboration with Reynaers Aluminium, my photography for Infinity ArchMedia focuses on the seamless integration of high-performance architectural systems into this large-scale infrastructure project.
The renovation required a sophisticated balance between the station’s historical significance and the functional demands of a modern European transport node. I documented the extensive use of Reynaers aluminum and glass surfaces, which define the new aesthetic of the passenger halls and transit corridors.
Key architectural elements captured in this study include:
Transparency & Light: Highlighting the expansive glazing that creates a bright, safe, and legible environment for commuters.
Structural Precision: Detailed captures of the Reynaers profiles and door systems, emphasizing their durability and clean industrial lines.
Material Synergy: The interaction between the sleek aluminum frames and the refurbished stone and steel elements of the station.
Through a mix of wide-angle contextual shots and technical close-ups, this visual documentation showcases how premium building envelopes can elevate public infrastructure, providing both aesthetic elegance and long-term thermal and acoustic performance.
