Where vintage meets contemporary, amidst warm wood tones and play of light and shadow, we reimagine the relaxed poetry of home. In today’s fast-paced world, we are always searching for a space where we can truly unwind. This mid-century modern home is like a love letter to time, weaving together warm woodwork, vintage textures, and futuristic spatial design to create an ideal sanctuary that is both nostalgic and forward-looking.

Upon entering this home, you are immediately enveloped by the warm, rich tones of wood. The original herringbone-patterned solid wood flooring creates a vintage rhythm as it flows with the play of light and shadow; the full-wall custom walnut bookshelf, set against an olive-green back panel, seamlessly blends storage and display, with each compartment revealing the homeowner’s taste and stories; From cabinetry to doorways, from baseboards to furniture, the warm texture of walnut runs throughout, giving the entire space a unified and sophisticated feel while infusing the home with a sense of calm.

Unlike the coldness of modern minimalism, the core of mid-century style lies in its warm, nostalgic charm. We avoided cluttered, intricate carvings, instead using clean lines and warm materials to capture the essence of mid-century design: the relaxed elegance of the black leather sofa in the living room, the casual ease of the LC4 lounge chair, and the transparency of the glass coffee table create a striking contrast; In the open-concept study, the clean lines of the glass desk paired with a 1960s Eames fiberglass armchair create a focused yet relaxed work atmosphere against the backdrop of woodwork. Each piece of furniture is not a simple reproduction but a contemporary interpretation of a classic, transforming vintage aesthetics from a mere symbol of a bygone era into a tangible quality of life.

If woodwork is the skeleton of a home, then the stone and colors in the dining room are the soul that brings the space to life. The expansive Persian White Jade marble in the dining island area serves as the visual focal point of the entire space. Its warm yellow natural veining, reminiscent of flowing amber, extends from the bar counter to the walls, casting a gentle glow under the lighting. It not only defines the space but also serves as the standout feature of the entire home. The custom-shaped countertop, paired with white bar stools, creates a dining area that blends social warmth with a sense of occasion—enclosed by vintage woodwork and transparent glass—making both cooking and dining a true pleasure.

The use of color is thoughtful: the vintage green accent wall in the study exudes a sense of calm sophistication, infusing the wood-toned space with natural vitality; the Klein blue shelving unit on the living room wall stands out against the off-white backdrop, serving as the room’s secondary focal point; in the bedroom, the warm light filtered through wooden blinds, paired with the vintage tapestry above the bed and the soft bedding, creates a soothing atmosphere for restful sleep. Every color choice is restrained yet precise, enriching the layers without disrupting the overall harmony, adding a touch of liveliness to the home’s vintage aesthetic.

Reconstructing the Poetic Leisure of Home

Functionality at the core, beauty in the details—creating a home that grows with you. We’ve incorporated extensive custom storage throughout the space: wall-to-wall wardrobes and hidden storage units ensure the home remains both aesthetically pleasing and exceptionally organized, striking the perfect balance between open and concealed storage; The treehouse-style bed in the children’s room balances whimsy with the needs of growing children, while the warmth of natural wood gently safeguards every dream; the curved archway and half-height entryway design ensure a sense of openness while cleverly dividing functional zones, creating a smooth and natural flow.

当复古遇见当代，在木色与光影里，重构家的松弛诗意

在快节奏的当下，我们总在寻找一处能让身心彻底舒展的空间。而这套中古风格的家，就像一封写给时光的情书，用温润的木作、复古的肌理与未来空间的设计，编织出一个既怀旧又未来的理想居所。

木作为骨唤醒空间的温度，走进这个家，最先被包裹的，是满室温润的木色。原创多人字拼的实木地板，顺着光影铺陈出复古的韵律；整面定制的胡桃木书柜，以橄榄绿背板为衬，将收纳与展示融为一体，每一格都藏着主人的审美与故事；从柜体到垭口，从踢脚线到家具，胡桃木的温润肌理贯穿始终，让整个空间拥有了统一而高级的质感，也为家注入了沉静的力量。

不同于冰冷的现代极简，中古风格的核心，是有温度的复古。我们没有堆砌繁复的雕花，而是用简约的线条、温润的材质，还原中古设计的精髓：客厅里黑色真皮沙发的慵懒、LC4躺椅的随性，与玻璃茶几的通透形成碰撞；开放式书房玻璃书桌的利落，搭配60s伊姆斯玻璃纤维扶手椅，在木作背景下，营造出专注又松弛的工作氛围。每一件家具都不是简单的复刻，而是对经典的当代演绎，让复古不再是年代的符号，而是可触摸的生活质感。

石材勾勒空间的层次

如果说木作是家的骨架，那餐厅的石材与色彩，就是让空间鲜活起来的灵魂。餐岛区域的大面积波斯白玉大理石成为整个空间的视觉焦点，暖黄色的天然纹理如流动的琥珀，从吧台延伸到墙面，在灯光下晕出温柔的光泽，既划分了空间，又成为整个家的颜值担当。异形导台搭配白色吧凳，在复古木作与通透玻璃的围合下，打造出一个兼具社交感与仪式感的餐导空间，让做饭与用餐都成为享受。

色彩的运用

书房背景墙的复古绿，沉稳又高级，为木色空间注入了自然的生机；客厅墙面的克莱因蓝置物层板，在米白墙面上跳脱出来，成为空间的第二视觉焦点；卧室里木百叶窗滤过的暖光、床头的复古挂毯，与温润的床品相融，营造出治愈的睡眠氛围。每一处色彩都克制而精准，既丰富了层次，又不破坏整体的和谐，让家在复古中多了几分灵动。

功能为核，细节为美，打造可生长的家。我们在空间中融入了大量的定制收纳：整墙的衣柜、隐藏式的储物柜体，让家在美观的同时，拥有超强的收纳能力，实现藏露平衡；儿童房的木屋造型床，兼顾了童趣与成长需求，原木的温润守护孩子的每一个梦乡；弧形垭口与玄关半高的设计，既保证了空间的通透感，又巧妙地划分了功能区，让动线流畅自然。

细节处的巧思：卧室里百褶吊灯的温柔光影，木百叶窗滤过的斑驳阳光，窗边慵懒的休闲椅；客厅里壁炉的仪式感，墙上的复古画作，每一处都在诉说着主人对生活的热爱。家不再是冰冷的容器，而是承载情感、记录时光的载体，在木色与光影里，每一个角落都充满了松弛与治愈。

这套中古家的设计，是一次对经典的致敬，也是一次对生活的重构。

家的模样，从来都不止一种。而中古风格，就是在时光的沉淀里，为我们留存一份温柔与诗意，让每一次归家，都成为一场与美好不期而遇的旅程。
