在秦皇岛阿那亚，关于理想生活的想象，常与海风、阳光和建筑的诗意相伴。当南方的品牌山池走进这片北方海岸，带来的不止是一杯咖啡的香气，更是一场关于“如何在此处”的诚恳回应。以坦诚的设计延续社区理想，是山池在阿那亚的实践，也是它与这片理想土壤之间一次笃定的共鸣。面对上下两层的空间格局，我们试图围绕场景层次、社区连接与生活诗意，构建出一个既熙攘又沉浸的双层叙事空间。

In Aranya, Qinhuangdao, the vision of an ideal life is often accompanied by sea breezes, sunlight, and the poetry of architecture. When the southern brand SANNCI steps onto this northern coast, it brings not only the aroma of a cup of coffee but also a sincere response to the question of “how to be here.” Extending the community ideal through honest design is SANNCI’s practice in Aranya, as well as a resolute resonance between the brand and this fertile ground of idealism. Facing a two-story spatial configuration, we seek to build a bustling yet immersive double-level narrative space—centered around layered scenes, community connection, and the poetry of life.

01风景一直都在

01 The scenery has always been there

项目起点并非一片空白，而是一个既有的临街建筑。它原为“工作室”使用，与咖啡业态的功能未能完美适配；另一方面，秦皇岛漫长的冻土期让室内保温成为核心议题。最终，我们放弃了品牌标志性的“完全打开”门店形态，改为仅开放一层，并代之以一组抵御严寒的厚重门窗。它们在物理上完成了保温与防凝的任务，在精神上则成为回应在地气候的沉默宣言——以克制的开合，换取全年的安定。

The project did not start from a blank slate, but from an existing street-front building. Originally used as a “studio,” it was not perfectly suited to the coffee program’s functions. Moreover, the long frozen ground period in Qinhuangdao made indoor insulation a core concern. In the end, we abandoned the brand’s signature “fully open” storefront typology, choosing instead to open only the ground floor and introduce a set of heavy-duty doors and windows that respond to the harsh cold. Physically, they accomplish the essential tasks of insulation and condensation prevention; spiritually, they become a silent manifesto responding to the local climate—exchanging a full year of stability for the restraint of opening and closing.

基于此，在空间设计上，我们卸下首层原有饰面层，让承重墙体真实裸露，展现北方建筑为抵御严寒而存在的诚实构造。混凝土的质朴肌理，与阿那亚所倡导的“有品质的简朴，有节制的丰盛”悄然共鸣。在速朽的数字时代，厚重、真实的质感，反而成为都市人安顿内心的精神锚点。随后顺应梁柱，梳理门窗系统与外摆客座。粗犷的自然主义以极简的线条、精准的比例与细腻的细部所调和，以“少”表达“多”，赋予空间精神性的轻盈与现代的精致——既保留物质世界的重量与真实，又追寻着精神世界的通透与光明。建筑外侧以两步台阶的微妙落差，轻轻划出一方从容的社交距离。人们可于此参与街区的熙攘，亦能安守与友人低语或与自己独处的片刻。内与外的边界柔和交织，使公共与私密之间达成美妙的平衡。至此完成“界面减负”，消解建筑与环境的物理边界，创造诱发感官的条件。海风、阳光、门前绿意、咖啡香气与交谈呢喃——风景即在当下，无需放弃现代生活的便利与审美，同样能够拥抱真实与自然。

Based on this, in terms of spatial design, we stripped off the original finishing layer on the ground floor, allowing the load-bearing walls to be truthfully exposed, revealing the honest construction of northern architecture built to withstand the harsh cold. The rustic texture of the concrete quietly resonates with what Aranya advocates—”quality simplicity, restrained abundance.” In this ephemeral digital age, such heavy, authentic textures become a spiritual anchor that settles the inner world of urban dwellers. Following the structural logic of beams and columns, the window-and-door system, outdoor seating. Raw naturalism is disciplined by minimalist lines, exacting proportions, and nuanced detailing. “Less is more”—the space is endowed with spiritual lightness and contemporary refinement, holding onto the weight and truth of the physical world while seeking the transparency and light of the spiritual. A modest two-step rise gently inscribes a gracious social distance along the building’s edge—a threshold where one may join the bustle of the neighborhood or retreat into hushed exchanges with friends, or simply into solitude. The boundary between inside and outside, softly blurred, strikes a delicate balance between the public and the intimate. With this, the “interface lightening” is realized — the physical boundary between architecture and environment dissolves, giving way to sensory conditions. Sea breeze, sunlight, greenery, coffee aroma, and whispered conversations: the landscape is present in the moment. One need not forsake modern comfort and beauty to embrace the real and the natural.

02 内与外的温柔对话

02 A Gentle Dialogue Between Inside and Outside

建筑中潜藏的诗意，在人的目光、身体感知与文化记忆中被唤醒；而人也在这场相遇中，照见自己内心未被言说的风景。在商业空间普遍奉行“坪效至上”的法则下，我们与品牌达成共识：割舍部分“效率”，换取更深层的体验价值。首层的“即时变现”被主动弱化，意在将人流清晰导向内容充盈的内场。

The poetry hidden in architecture is awakened through human gaze, bodily perception, and cultural memory—and in this encounter, one catches a reflection of their own unspoken inner landscape.While commercial spaces generally chase “maximum efficiency per square meter,” we and the brand agreed otherwise: to trade some “efficiency” for deeper experiential value. The ground floor’s “instant monetization” is deliberately downplayed, meant to direct visitors toward the more content-rich interior.

空间以从容的姿态，静候步履与目光的停驻。压低后的门窗，向上延伸的裸露混凝土墙面形成强烈的视觉张力，反而令室内愈加深邃广阔。人轻柔地被引向深处，路径成为一场随性自由的漫步。

The space waits with a composed manner, quietly receiving the pause of footsteps and gazes. The lowered doors and windows, together with the exposed concrete walls extending upward, create a striking visual tension, which instead makes the interior feel even deeper and more expansive. People are gently drawn into the depths, where the path becomes a casual, free-flowing stroll.

温暖的木材、小尺度砖砌铺地、轻盈的钢结构栏杆与可移动的家具，共同赋予空间质感与灵活性。灰绿色的钢结构墙面、窗体与展示柜，既年轻清新，又与混凝土的质朴肌理达成微妙平衡。

Warm wood, small-scale brick paving, lightweight steel railings, and movable furniture together endow the space with material richness and flexibility. The sage-green steel structure—across walls, window frames, and display cabinets—feels fresh and youthful, while achieving a subtle balance with the raw texture of the concrete.

楼梯的设计围绕流动性、品牌展示及二层引导这三个核心展开。向上的暗示并非来自明确的标识，而是通过地面标高、材质过渡与光线牵引，悄然引导视觉与动线。

The staircase is designed around three core principles: fluidity, brand presentation, and guidance toward the second floor.The suggestion of moving upward does not come from explicit signage, but rather from subtle shifts in floor elevation, material transitions, and the pull of light — quietly guiding both sight and circulation.

03 不经意间的诗与远方

03 Serendipitous Poetry and Distance

真正的生活提案，在二层空间徐徐展开。相较于首层的开放与流动，这里拥有更优越的视野与更沉静的基调。

The genuine lifestyle narrative unfolds at the second level. Distinguished from the ground floor’s permeability and movement, this space affords elevated vistas and a more tranquil disposition.

纳光入室的大开窗，疏朗的座位布局，从容的动线，配合恰当比例与质感的家具，共同围合出松弛、温暖的“客厅”氛围，提供使人愿意停留、乐于分享并产生情感连接的自在时刻。

Expansive glazing that ushers light into the interior, a generous seating layout, unhurried circulation, and furnishings of appropriate proportion and tactility collectively define a relaxed and warm “living room” condition—providing those instants that invite lingering, affective bonding, and the desire to share.

在双层的体量中，压场的设计元素常常成为串联空间与升华体验的关键。我们在缜密的框架里，创造了一处充满精神性的“远方壁炉”，并于屋顶开启一扇天窗，使其成为空间里引人驻足、激发冥想的精神焦点。流动的光、变化的影，以及那份“来自高处”不可言喻的通透感，无不提醒人们：诗意不必宏大。于喧嚣的底色上，远方依旧触手可及。

In a double-height volume, the anchoring design element often becomes the key to connecting spaces and elevating the experience. Within a meticulous structural framework, we have created a spiritually charged “distant hearth” and opened a skylight in the roof, making this spot a spiritual focal point that invites people to pause and meditate. The flowing light, the shifting shadows, and that ineffable sense of clarity coming “from above” gently remind us: poetry need not be grand. Against the backdrop of everyday clamor, the distance remains within reach.

当海风拂过面颊，光在温暖的木质墙面上缓慢游移，咖啡香与邻桌的低语轻轻交织，身体陷进一把椅子的温柔弧度里——那些横亘在人与世界之间的屏障，便在具体可感的空间语言与日常场景中悄然消解。或许当下人追寻的，并非远方的符号，而是真实的“在场”；不是精致的疏离，而是可触摸的温度与连接。我们由衷欣赏主理人在冻土期仍坚持营业的投入：哪怕一盏灯、一杯温热，亦能在寒冬中给予身心的守护。当空间本身成为吸引物与记忆点，“好生意”便有了更持久、健康的根基——好生活，本身就是最具吸引力的商业模式。

When the sea breeze touches your cheek, light slowly drifts across the warm wooden walls, the aroma of coffee gently intertwines with the murmur of a neighboring table, and your body sinks into the gentle curve of a chair—the barriers that once stood between people and the world quietly dissolve within the tangible language of space and the familiarity of everyday scenes. Perhaps what people seek today is not a distant symbol, but a true sense of “presence”; not an exquisite detachment, but a tangible warmth and connection. We sincerely admire the owner’s commitment to staying open during the frozen ground season—even a single lamp, a cup of warmth, can offer physical and spiritual comfort in the bitter cold. When space itself becomes a destination and a point of memory, “good business” gains a more lasting and healthy foundation—a good life is, in itself, the most compelling business model.
