The Vanguard International School project seeks to create a meaningful dialogue between Ipoh’s historical heritage and contemporary architectural requirements. Recognizing the city’s rich cultural and architectural legacy, the design draws inspiration from Ipoh’s iconic old shophouses, reinterpreting their essence in a modern educational context.The project is guided by Frank Gehry’s architectural philosophy, which emphasizes the ability of architecture to reflect the spirit of its time while aspiring toward timelessness.
