The first Viaggiator Goloso store had as its motto “in search of happy food.” Opened by Unes supermarket in the prestigious Milanese location of Via Belisario, the store is devoted to Viaggiator Goloso private-label goods. Happy products of superior quality are selected to cover every product category. A vast range of fruit and vegetables, organic baked goods, quality meats, sushi and sashimi, and a fine wine selection.
This new concept store is unique and Imoon has created a project featuring customised products bearing the Viaggiator Goloso brand. They are as distinctive as the store’s merchandise.
Numa greets the customer at the store’s entrance. This two square metre suspended LED creates a uniform light diffusion perfect for greeting customers. The position of the “VG” logo on the fixtures precisely mirrors that of the image on the ground – each reflecting the other.
Mida has been used for the gastronomy, butcher’s, and sushi counters. The coated aluminium structure of the suspended LED features a hyper-realistic, scratch-resistant 3D print. The texture was chosen because it resembles jute, which is a material with warm and natural properties. This highly customised version of Mida has been created in different shapes to suit the various display counters. There is a square for the central stalls and elongated shape for the butcher’s, gastronomy and sushi counters. It supports up to five fixtures, each with a colour temperature tailored to the type of illuminated product.
Venere Pro C has been used for the fruit and vegetable counters. This is an Imoon product typically used in Unes stores. However, this time it used a white colour to match this new format’s charming style.
Venere Pro has been used for the aisles, in its recessed and projector edge reflector version. It has a rectangular light output that allows the light to be directed at the display areas while providing uniform illumination and reducing the required fixtures. This lowered the installation and operating costs.
In-store communication was emphasised by using a LED trunking rail installed into the black roof around the store’s perimeter.
