Oberlin College 可持续设计实践 · 校园酒店 Gateway Center

[ENG] - The Oberlin College is a leading national educational institution and sets high standards in terms of environmental soundness. The Gateway Center also includes a campus hotel. For the facade, the architects at Solomon Cordwell and Buenz opted for the sustainable öko skin slats in terracotta. The surfaces were sandblasted to different degrees, creating an interesting play of colours.

[DE] - Das Oberlin College ist eine national führende Bildungseinrichtung und setzt hohe Maßstäbe in Sachen Umweltverträglichkeit. Das Gateway Center umfasst unter anderem auch ein Campus Hotel. Bei der Fassade entschieden sich die Architekten von Solomon Cordwell und Buenz für die nachhaltigen öko skin Latten in der Farbe terracotta. Durch die unterschiedlich stark sandgestrahlten Oberflächen entsteht ein interessantes Farbspiel.
