The building is understood as a “pure box” in which health and sanitary services can be developed. The façades are made of prefaricated white concrete pieces that form a translucid skin of the building.

The new facility will be the second of the capital of the Alt Empordà in Girona with an area of 2,917 square meters, and which is expected to enter into service in 2018.

The construction of this HealthCare Center was postponed for some years until 2013, when the project had to be adapted, as initially it was designed to place other facilities of the Government of Catalonia.
