MyGreekMe is the first retail design for OPA, a design-souvenir boutique in the heart of Old Town of Rhodes, Greece. A blend of traditional Greek architecture elements with contemporary, minimalistic finishes right inside a medieval building dated from the 13th century. It is fully functional and operating since May 2015. The challenging part of this project was to create a contemporary store with traditional character without resulting into a “cliché kitch”, always with respect to the medieval structure that surrounds it. We believe that we achieved our goal. If you find yourselves in Rhodes this summer, it’s worth a visit; besides OPA’s design, the collection of products inside is also fantastic.
