THE LIGHTHOUSE RESORT AND SEA CENTER IS A TOURISTIC COMPLEX WITH A STRONG LANDSCAPE PROPENSITY. THE DESIGN CONCEPT ADAPT THE BUILDING TO THE MORPHOLOGY OF THE SITE AREA. THE DESIGN STARTING POINT HAS BEEN THE RAMPS CONNECTING THE DIFFERENT VOLUMES OF THE LUXURY RESORT. THEY HAS BEEN DESIGNED FOLLOWING THE CONTOUR LINES, WITH AN INCLINATION SUITABLE ALSO FOR DISABLED PEOPLE, IN ORDER TO INTEGRATE THEMSELVES INTO THE LANDSCAPE SHAPE. THE NEW ARTIFICIAL VOLUMES ARE CONCEIVES AS A "HOLLOWED ROCK"; THEY ARE ALLOCATED ON DIFFERENT GROUND LEVELS OF THE SITE AREA, IN ORDER TO MINIMIZE THE VOLUME DENSITY, PRESERVING THE PANORAMIC VIEW FROM THE LIGHTHOUSE TOWARDS THE SEA. LEVEL +15,00m: HALL, MANAGEMENT, BAR, CIGAR ROOM, SEA CENTER INFO-TICKET POINT; LEVEL +14,00m: OUTDOOR THEATRE; LEVEL +11,50: RESTAURANT/LOUNGE BAR, SOUTHEAST RESORT AREA, WELLNESS CENTER; LEVEL +10,50m: SOUTHWEST RESORT AREA; LEVEL +8,50m: SEA CENTER; LEVEL +8,00m: SOLARIUM, SEA WATER POOL. TO INCREASE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NEW BUILDINGS AND "RISERVA MURRO DI PORCO" MARINE LANDSCAPE, THE RESORT AND THE SEACENTER ARE PROVIDED WITH PRIVATE STAIRS FOR ACCESS FROM THE SEA. THE MAIN MATERIALS ADOPTED FOR THE DESIGN ARE THE MATTE WHITE OF THE RAMPS, THAT REPRESENT THE PERFECT BEAUTY OF NATURE; AND THE SYRACUSE LIMESTONE CLADDING, USED FOR THE NEW VOLUMES, REPRESENTING THE HUMAN ANTHROPIZATION.
