Abel Design Group recently achieved the office design for Xactly, the cloud-based software and services company, located in Denver, Colorado.
Xactly Corp is a leading technology company with offices around the world, and big growth plans for the Denver office. The company leased a 40,000 sq. foot space, two floors of the Chase Tower in downtown Denver, and selected Abel Design Group for the design of the space. Over 200 employees, from engineers to sales department personnel, work in the Denver office. The design includes an internal staircase connecting the two floors the company occupies.
The Xactly Corp ‘X’ is seen repeated throughout the office to highlight the company’s branding. In the elevator lobby, a custom flooring design and wall sconces were chosen to reveal Xactly’s recognizable ‘X’ the moment the elevator doors open.
The new internal staircase with built-in seating was located at the center of the plan to create a natural collision area. The space can be used for large department meetings or separated into multiple collaboration areas for smaller, more intimate gatherings. Surrounded by the staircase and an enclosed conference room, this open collaboration area feels accessible, but not distracting to adjacent workstations.
The amenity filled breakroom (i.e. beer taps, breakfast bar, coffee bar, and snack service) can be utilized for all-staff meetings with an easy re-configuration using mobile furniture and movable walls. By incorporating textural tile, colorful wall vinyl, and other various dynamic finishes, the complete office has a fun, functional feel that is beneficial in attracting new local talent as well as retaining existing talent.
