Febrero Studio was tasked with the design of the formal and bright offices of Oquendo Capital, an investment firm located in Madrid, Spain.
Client requested a formal, yet young styled proposal to represent the values of this investment fond. Our main purpose was to play with natural classy materials played with a contemporary language in the disposition of the elements. The office has an open office space for 26 people, one board meeting room, 2 meeting rooms, 2 small cabins for calls, kitchen and office space.
We created a multifunctional furniture along the space to separate the exterior area, dedicated to open office and board meetings, and the transit spaces. Then we used striped glass to close the internal meetings and kitchen space.
Marble, walnut wood, wool, striped glass and green continuous floor to achieve a relaxing environment, classy yet contemporary look. The furniture was chosen keeping simple lines and pure shapes in very light wood or white to keep a balance with the intervention.
The main structural furniture creates the space for the waiting area sits, the big pivoting door that gives access to the open office, the windows to let natural light enter the corridor and a huge storage capacity no only for documents but even for the coats and personal items of the workers. Only disruptive element in the project was a big piece of white marble framing the welcome desk where the company logo shaped in black iron is displayed.
