Kava Massih Architects were tasked with the office design for construction and development management company, NOVA Partners Inc., located in Mountain View, California.

The project is the renovation of an existing 4,600 square foot warehouse into office headquarters for Nova Partners, a construction and development management firm serving the greater Bay Area. The existing single-story tilt-up concrete shell was gutted and reconfigured to accommodate a reception area, open offices, small and large meeting rooms, a kitchenette, toilet rooms, support spaces, and a tenant lease space. The material pallet juxtaposes warm wood surfaces and dark metal finishes against restored blasted concrete walls and polished concrete floors. The existing street façade was stripped of its gawdy faux features and replaced by a storefront entrance and canopy of wood, steel, and glass, consistent with the modern interior palette.
