活力色彩的雅典浴室翻新设计

This bathroom is part of an appartment rennovation that hasn't finished yet, in Athens. The owner is a very vivid personality that loves the bright colors and therefore she asked to incorporate them to her new house but in a final result elegant and balanced.

At first, we wanted to improve the layout of the bathroom that was quite disfunctional. We replace the claustrophobic bathtub with an open shower nook and we change the radiator's place so that a tall cabinet could take it's place.

To create the pop yet chic atmosphere that the client wanted we used a group of 3 materials: tiles - cabinet - fixtings. We used a grey terrazzo tile for the floor and the main wall to create a chic base on top of which some splashes of color would be funky enough. The rest of the walls were covered in a white subway tile for a brighter atmosphere where the light diffuses nicely. Then, we used a pale pink veneer for the wooden cabinets and the mirror and a bold blue for the bathroom fixtings and the ceiling. The lighting also had a significal role with different scenarios of bright or atmospheric lighting depending on the mood of the user.
