Among the apartments of Residenza Dolcevita, overlooking Lake Maggiore and surrounded by greenery, the A4.1 penthouse project was born, which, due to its privileged position and its priceless view towards the Verbano, offered the designer and the client the opportunity to create a space characterized by a unique and suggestive atmosphere.

The main objective was to be able to organize in a few square meters of quality and efficient spaces that would allow the main functions and spaces of use of the apartment to be united in a central nucleus. In fact, the client wanted to have several free walls in order to be able to enrich them with paintings, wallpapers and works of art by Alex Turco, details that have given a considerable added value to the space.

The color palette and the choice of materials was based on the theme of nature. Wood and stone essences have been combined with vibrant brown and beige tones taken from the Farrow & ball series.

In the center of the space, a volume / cabinet collects the systems, an internal water fireplace and an external gas grill. This element projects the gaze from the living room towards the outside, a generously sized terrace overlooking Lake Maggiore.

The reason for the terrace is oriental culture which, due to its shapes and colors, suggests slow and peaceful environments, therefore what the client was looking for for his relaxing evenings outside.

The private staircase that connects the third floor to the fourth was an opportunity to give it a different expression, therefore to be able to use it as a desk, wardrobe and display of precious objects. The starting principle is that of the yacht which in a few square meters groups and hides all the objects of use.
