墨西哥豪华公寓，经典与现代的完美融合

Spread over 250 square meters, this apartment is located in a luxury residential complex in Huixquilucan, in the State of Mexico (around 40 kilometers from Mexico City). It was designed by ASHŌ – an architecture and interior design studio founded in 2016 by Anette Askenazi Shor – for a young couple (she is a fashion designer and he is an entrepreneur). The design project consisted of including classic elements and contemporary details at the same time to create a warm, serene and dynamic atmosphere. The team drew inspiration from a mix of mid-century classic style and contemporary materials to achieve a balanced and cohesive space. The materials are natural stones such as Statuarietto white marble and Absolute black marble, Tzalam and walnut wood, as well as metal including brass and steel. Through contrast and the combination of materials, ASHŌ wanted to integrate the different areas and create the perfect balance between them. The color palette comprises different shades of blue, yellow and gray, bringing dynamism to the space. The pieces of furniture and decorative elements – including the Florence armchair by Knoll, the Van Beuren chairs and the Jens bench, among others – were carefully chosen to reflect the owners’ personalities. This project invites the users to experience feelings of comfort, warmth and wellness.
