John Li Studio completed the warm and inviting design for Building 5 of the Angel Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Kunming, China.

Building 5 Angel Women‘s and Children’s Hospital has two function artificial assisted reproduction and medical cosmetology.

For deeply understanding local culture, our design team traveled Kunming. We were shocked by a place named Butterfly spring which contains a touching story about love. A theme about butterfly spring perfectly match the concept of this project. Butterfly reborn with powerful love really like artificial assisted reproduction and medical cosmetology. Butterfly and spring symbolises life and beauty.

We use blue tone from Morpho menelaus for artificial assisted reproduction part, and green tone from Ornithoptera priamus medical cosmetology part.

The project shows natural tenderness and calm environment.
