Sakura Montessori 国际学校

D+ Studio completed the newest Sakura Montessori International School located in Ha Dong, Vietnam.

Sakura Montessori International School is a preschool system which became the pioneer for education in Vietnam when it opened the first school in 2011. The international Montessori standard focuses on the creative environment unlocking each child’s ability and potential.

Sakura Montessori Ha Dong is the 9th school in the system. With over 4,000 square meters, the school was designed with the modern and fresh style covering the classrooms system, the entertainment area both in and outside. The concept was a harmonious combination of architectural and aesthetic elements, especially, the PVC wooden solar shading is used as a facade solution to reduce heat directly from the sun as well as decoration.

In detail, the classroom system with upto 90 square meters styled with optimised windows helped to conserve natural light and save energy. In order to provide a green and sustainable studying environment, green features were maximised to freshen the atmosphere as well as create more shades for playing areas.

Eventually, the idea of a professional, environment friendly and lively teaching school was successfully implemented at Sakura Montessori International School Ha Dong.
