OUTDOOR MAN, an outdoor supply store, suggests that though everyone engages in outdoor activities for reasons, e.g. stress relief, challenge embracing and exercising, it is of great importance for everyone spend time attending outdoor activities, especially for urbanites.
OUTDOOR MAN’s logo, the triangular fingerprint, symbolizes people and natural environments. Resembling the shape of tent, the logo figuratively represents goods as well. The idea of logo expresses the anticipation that the intimate connection among people, goods and environments inspires us to find the meaning of life.
To present the idea of logo in the layout of the store, the designer categorizes the areas in the store by functionalities, of which the design style is pleasant, and the wood colors signify the plain quality of life.
Given the triangular shape of the logo simulating the environment that is physically challenging, the indoor space furnished with triangular display stands artistically manifest mountainous wilderness.
To reflect the purpose of life in the physical decorations in the shop, OUTDOOR MAN advocates the genuine but elegant characteristics that express the environmental-protection notion, which uniquely displays the charms of the shop by suggesting mundane life style.
