纽约事务所Susan T. Rodriguez Architecture and Design为印第安纳大学设计了新的钟塔作为该校两百周年校庆的纪念碑，也为校园提供了新的聚集场地与微型教室。钟塔历史悠久，其规模之大在全世界也不超过30个。新的设计替换掉了1970年代的旧结构，在石灰石地基上以垂直侧鳍和水平轮轴组合成塔身，内部悬挂65个挂钟。

Designed by the NYC based firm Susan T. Rodriguez Architecture and Design, the Carillon offers a new gathering place and micro classroom on the campus and is a symbol of the University’s Bicentennial. One of fewer than 30 grand carillons in the world, the new structure replaces a previous design from the 1970s and houses 65 bells, held aloft by the tower’s limestone piers, vertical fins, and horizontal steel hubs.

原始的钟塔仅有61个挂钟，每个上面都镌刻着男性音乐家的名言与题词。STR事务所与Royal Eijsbouts铸钟厂达成了合作，在此基础上增加了四个挂钟，不仅进一步拓展了乐器的音域，还补充上了女性音乐家的名言。
