Architects Eduard Eremchuk and Katy Pititskaya has created the feeling of Neo-bistro for ‘Nothing Fancy’, futuristic cafe in Saint Petersburg.
“People used to make the cult from healthy food but we think that it’s just how it should be in 21 century – Normal to eat healthy food and quality products without any cult. The idea of Nothing Fancy is a symbiosis of an active rhythm of the metropolis and comfort food. “Nothing fancy”, means generous portions of quality products and the right cooking technologies, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies, what our body needs every day.”

Architects were inspired by the atmosphere of a typical Milanese cafè, transforming it into new futuristic manner. ‘We had a challenge to create a place where you come every day, a space for real life, so you need to combine warm and cool tones leather and metallic materials details in a very delicate way ’.
So in the interior design, we wanted to combine the patterns of the classic European bistro with brown leather, chrome details and mosaics, only to do it in a new trendy style, in line with the spirit of the times.
While entering the visitor immediately pays all attention on the curved bar table which stays right in from of the entrance. The piece is made of mirrored stainless steel and together with curved shape it reflects all the space, mixing all the colours and details and creating a kaleidoscope which you can’t get past.
There are 3 different areas for dining. Visitors can join one big table made of mosaic with a restaurant logo, with flying Alien chairs in caramel faux leather designed by architects.
