宝地中的度假屋

在意大利的阿尔卑斯山地区，有许多高山谷仓。今天为大家介绍的这座谷仓位于这片美景中的宝地—被联合国教科文组织列为世界遗产的卡多雷—多洛米蒂地区。过去用石材与木材建立的谷仓下层通常是马厩，而上层用来存放干草堆。建筑师的任务是把这座谷仓转化为爱爬山的业主带领家人前来度假的度假屋。

In the Italian Alps, barns vary form region to region in their form, materials and structure.  In the Cadore which is located in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, alpine barns are built from wood and stone.  The ground floors in such barns were typically used as stables and the upper floors as haylofts.

We were asked to design the conversion of a barn into a holiday home in Selva di Cadore on behalf of a mountain enthusiast and his family.
