The corporate identity of the company takes form in its workplace by means of mineral geometric shapes and a powerful marmoreal material nature.The intervention consists in a full refurbishment of several floors in an office building currently in use, with the purpose of making up a workplace that maximizes comfort and productivity conditions and, at the same time, represents a new brand identity that welcomes the visitor/client.

As the central argument to encourage that close relation between the work and the company brand, whose activity is mineral transformation, the rooms layout takes form according to a fractal pattern of hexagonal directrix, typical of crystallization of some minerals.

In the same way, as far as the material is concerned, the project establishes a sort of skin made of white marble, specially chosen because of its natural veining and composition. The aim here was to achieve an innovative building and material proposal that could allow the control of its translucent feature, by guaranteeing the sunlight to cross through the minerals that form the stone, thus creating surprising light effects inside the rooms demarcated by that skin.

So, the project idea is a special formal answer by means of the uneven geometry and a strong sensory appearance thanks to the high-quality stony finishing.In order to meet all needs, a full program of specific rooms has been stablished: technical library, kitchen and dining area for the staff or a motorized document archive create a composition of acoustic venues and open operative areas. The functional distribution of spaces is studied according to the hierarchical structure of the company, achieving an efficient organization of the executive workplaces and their productive areas.

With the mentioned aim of achieving an architectural space of a strong personality that could gain the attention of the company guests, an exhibition-like path is designed to show the company appearance: it takes them from the entrance to the central reception desk, which is in direct connection with the spacious meeting rooms.In the working area, the translucent marble skin demarcates broad open spaces and organizes the private offices for the management. Thus, collaborative workplaces have a mineral background as environment for the working activity, and the inner offices keep “protected” by the marble wall, in a way that mineral stuff may be present in every company area.

The use of materials produced by the developer business group as raw material for the project design encourage the close relation between the construction of the workplace and the corporate identity, being at the same time a showcase for their products and procedures.The result is a space fully adapted to the user by generating a deep feeling of identification with the environment and a faithful representation of the company activity to their clients

As accompaniment to this architectural space of strong material presence, the selected office furniture has a technical and structured character. Pieces of manufacturers like USM, Vitra, Bulthaup or Edra strengthen a top-quality sensation by their commitment with accuracy, technology, innovation and avant-garde.The color palette used in every room matches the natural shades of marble and integrates the blue and grey range of the corporate colors. The result is a restrained and elegant scenery for a pleasant and efficient workplace.
