citizenM Copenhagen is located in the centre of Copenhagen, just a couple of steps away from the City Hall Square at Radhuspladsen. This hotel is the first for the brand with its public spaces on top of its 238 bedrooms. Up on the 7th floor you’ll find the one-minute check-in, canteenM, livingroom, creative meeting spaces and the sky bar, which is open to the public where you can enjoy the spectacular view over Copenhagen.

citizenM Copenhagen is part of an existing building, Dagmarhus, which houses the hotel alongside an existing cinema. The hotel itself is situated in the part of the building that has been converted from a former office structure.

The entrance of the hotel is located on the ground floor where local artists have curated their work onto the corridor walls, guiding guests to the elevators and offering a sneak peek of the citizenM energy found upstairs. Then travelling up to the top is where you will find the additional floor added by Concrete, creating the public spaces which celebrate the view over Copenhagen. The skybar with its outdoor terrace, remarkable photo-op city views, and one-of-a-kind cocktails, creates an ‘escape the city’ feel, without having to leave the city at all. In the heart of the living room, canteenM – open 24/7 to hotel guests – stocks food from mostly local suppliers. Shoppers who wish to take a little bit of citizenM home will appreciate collectionM – a gift shop unlike any other.

In every city, citizenM stands out among other hotels, not just by creating an exceptional guest experience, but also by inviting local artists to add a real local vibe to the exterior and interior. For citizenM Copenhagen Radhuspladsen, artist Troels Aagaard painted an entrance mural on both walls, while Ditte Ejlerskov and HuskMitNavn contributed in-room art, wall and ceiling murals in the sky bar.
