In a forest, there are two ways of looking: a horizontal one, clipping through the tree trunks, and vertical one, directed towards the leafy crowns. The forest could be understood as a vast natural roof that filters light sunlight through its leaves. The more we move away from the ground, the greater the chance of capturing this. As an artifact, the house rises off the ground plane, seeking the treetops and the sun. The pronounced slanting of the roof reinforces this decision. Inside, the views look towards the horizon and the top of the trees, so that every room enjoys these two ways of looking that co-exist in the forest.
