LANDPROCESS ：The 2018 Equity Fellow, Kotchakorn Voraakhom (Kotch) is a Bangkok-based urban landscape architect and highly active campaigner advocating for green public space. Here the idea of green public space is not only for recreation but also act as the urban green infrastructure that also involves the enhancement of public health in the society. Her latest project with Faculty of Medicine of Ramathibodi hospital is another great example in implementing her believe in action.Once ignore helicopter pad, The 2,400 square meter concrete rooftop is turned into the biggest healing garden in Thailand. This healing garden on the green roof is located on the 10th floor of The Somdech Phra Debaratana Medical Centre.

Kotch为医院规划发展建立了“绿色医院”的愿景，致力于为密集的混凝土医院创造更多绿色区域，并利用可能的废物空间创造更好的治疗环境。医院的健康环境被认为是康复过程的关键组成部分。规划和设计为用户提供了与自然重新连接的物理空间。为病人、家属、来访者和工作人员塑造健康行为和幸福的关键。

Establishing the vision of ‘Green hospital’ for the hospital planning development, Kotch has been involved to create more green areas to a dense concrete hospital and to utilize the possible waste space to create the better healing environment. The healthy environment of the hospital is considered as the crucial component of the healing process. The planning and design provide physical spaces for the users to reconnect with nature. The key to shaping the healthy behavior and well-being to patients, families, visitors and their staffs.

应用生态疗法的概念来提高治疗体验。有证据表明，在接触自然元素的情况下，身体上的疾病会得到更好的恢复。阳光，植物的香气，舒缓的绿色景观可以增加游客的身心健康的积极影响。这个疗愈花园设计通过景观设计带来一种平和、宁静和疗愈体验。

The Ecotherapy concept is applied to enhance the therapeutic experience. The proved evidence of better recovery in physical sickness with the touch of natural elements. Sunlight, plants aroma, the soothing green view can increase the positive effect on the mental and physical health of visitors. This healing garden design brings a sense of peace, serenity, and healing experience through landscape architecture design.
