Chiyosaki房子位于日本大阪市，占地面积只有8平米，整座建筑位于一个狭窄的角落空间里，故命名为chiyosaki角落住宅，它是由本地建筑事务所coo planning设计完成的。尽管建筑地块十分狭小，设计师尽可能的使可用区域最大化，确保居民在住宅内没有任何拘束之感。房子共有两层，开放区域包括厨房和客厅，建筑外部由垂直木材版包裹，一楼有4米高。建筑内部也采用的是木质材料，狭窄的楼梯蜿蜒着可以通向楼上的卧室和一个小天井。虽然狭窄，但是却可以利用这一开口探索场地以外的空间。

shaped by its small and narrow corner plot of only 8 square meters, ‘house in chiyosaki’ in the japanese city of osaka was developed by coo planning. despite the scale, the design has maximized the available area ensuring that the inhabitants do not feel confined. the home’s program is distributed throughout a modest footprint over two main levels. the heart of the dwelling is a double height, open area comprising the kitchen and living room. clad in vertical timber panels, the first floor is 4 meters high. the interior continues the use of wood, with a narrow staircase winding upwards to the bedroom and a small patio. although narrow, the architects were able to use height as a main feature to fully explore the limits of a constricted site.
