该项目位于巴西里约cunhambebe国家公园，艺术家mariko mori在公园瀑布的上方建造了一个光环装置，日前正式面向公众开放。据悉，该装置将作为永久性的景观在公园展览。它的外观结构是与2016年在里约举办的奥运会有联系的，将科学，技术和自然联系在一起，形成了一个巨大的圆形光环装置，位于高大58米的梯级瀑布上方，吸引了游客们的注意。当太阳光线从不同的角度洒在圆环上，圆环的颜色就会渐渐发生变化，从蓝色到金色的光晕，非常奇妙。

该项目是由faou基金会赞助的，主要是希望将里约当地的特色文化通过景观的方式呈现在游客们眼前，通过2016年里约奥运会和残奥会，让更多的人了解里约。mori的光环装置同时也传达了保护自然的思想，他说，“非常高兴能够跟大家分享该装置，它是一个圆环，代表着将巴西人民和全世界的游客连成一体，希望大家能够团结一致，保护我们赖以生存的环境”。

artist mariko mori’s ‘ring: one with nature’ is now open to the public in cunhambebe state park in rio de janeiro, brazil. the permanent artwork — presented in conjunction with the rio 2016 olympics — blends science, technology and nature, featuring a giant luminous ring suspended at the peak of a 58 meter-high cascading waterfall. as the sun sheds light on the sculpture from different angles, the orb changes in color, slowly shifting from blue to gold hues.

presented by the faou foundation with the cultural endorsement of the celebra cultural program of the rio 2016 olympic and paralympic games, mori’s ‘ring’ encourages environmental protection through art installation. ‘it is a pleasure to share ‘ring: one with nature’ with the people of brazil as well as visitors from around the world,’ mori says.
