日前，设计师兼摄影师pygmalion karatzas凭着全额艺术奖金周游美国。在过去五个月的旅行期间，他不断探索着全镜头的摄影艺术与方法。全镜头的摄影艺术可以通过更加逼真的方式来向大众呈现最美的城市景观，由此记录下值得纪念的城市空间，当然，这些都是在美国境内完成的。摄影师pygmalion karatzas所探索的主题分为好几类，其中包括当下的

，都市风光，人造景观的设计以及可选择的城市规划和发展。在探索的过程中，pygmalion karatzas也咨询了同为设计师或者摄影师的同事和前辈们。

其实，pygmalion karatzas最初捕捉到的城市风景是位于纽约的布鲁克林植物园，该植物园是由weiss manfredi团队设计的，与该摄影相配套的有一个视频，视频里记录的是他在摄影期间的一些琐事和细节，很有看点。据悉，田纳西大学，mark dekay教授，“综合性可持续

”的作者以及一些同为设计师或者摄影师的朋友，都非常支持pygmalion karatzas做这样的研究和探索。

architect and photographer pygmalion karatzas is currently traveling around united states on a full bright artist scholarship. over the course of five months he will be exploring the subject of ‘integral lens: an integral approach to the study and representation of the built environment through the photographic medium‘ documenting built spaces throughout america. subjects he will investigate include contemporary architecture, cityscapes, the man-altered landscape and alternative urban developments; and allowing the way he will meet with fellow architects and photographers.

this initial selection of images which he has captured features the brooklyn botanic garden visitor center in new york by weiss manfredi architects; accompanied by a video in which he documented scenes from his photo walks in time-lapse and hyper lapse. the university of tennessee, college of architecture and design, and professor mark dekay, author of the book ‘integral sustainable design’ are supporting the project.
