The project consisted on the refurbishment and extension of an existing school, adding 2 kindergarden classrooms, kitchen and canteen, teacher’s room, a new toilet block and covered external open-space. The extension followed a very strict metric, with the side extension split from the existing building with a soft yellow/ light green cladding, relating to the peel colour of the Rocha Pear, of which Cadaval is known for.
