本案位于半边山水半边城的苏州吴中区。山水文化孕育了文人雅士既注重精神自由又醉心于物质享受，推敲东方传统与当代性的关系，将园林精神内化为空间的诗意，通过现代手法将传统的本地文化延续在空间里，形成现代雅致，适度与舒适的交往空间。

This case is located in Suzhou Wuzhong District, half of landscape and half of the city. Landscape culture gave birth to literati who both pay attention to spiritual freedom and are obsessed with material enjoyment. Examine the relation between Oriental tradition and contemporary. The garden spirit is internalized into poetic space. The traditional local culture is continued in the space through modern methods. Form a modern and elegant, moderate and comfortable communication space.

明代吴门画派代表仇英在《竹院品古图》中描绘了四百多年前的一个春日缙绅士大夫在某个江南私园中参加雅集活动的场景。

Qiu Ying, a representative of the Wumen School of Painting in the Ming Dynasty, is shown in the Bamboo Courtyard. It depicts a spring day more than 400 years ago, the scene of the Jin Gentleman Doctor participating in the elegant collection activities in a private garden in Jiangnan.

通过对画中所绘细节进行深入的分析和解读，力图重现此次活动的历史原境。营造出一道屏风，三两座椅，翠竹碧树，有茶有友的诗意场景。更是从画作纹样中提取紫燕作为使者贯穿整个空间。

By examining the details in the painting, conduct in-depth analysis and interpretation, try to reproduce the historical original environment of this activity, creating a screen, three or two seats, bamboo trees, tea and friends of the poetic scene, but also from the pattern of the painting, extract purple swallow as emissary throughout the space.

入口处的艺术装置形态灵动，好似燕雀的巢穴。栖息在巢中的燕雀被来宾惊扰，徐徐飞起，指引着宾客的游园动线。随燕雀进入开放的室内空间，豁然之感油然而生。客至，宾主相见，焚香瀹茗，以茶待客之后，雅集开始。

The art installation at the entrance is in the shape of a bird’s nest. Perched in the nest by visitors disturbed, slowly fly. Guides the guests’ garden activities. Follow the birds into the open interior space, all of a sudden Yue Ming (burning incense). After receiving guests with tea, the elegant collection began.

沙盘上方挂屏为绢布织就，描绘千里江山图于其上。几只燕雀飞舞其间，引领宾客游历于自然景观之中，便览江南图景。

木饰面包裹的楼梯仿佛是水乡中的桥洞，黑色镜面大理石仿照水面，倒映着从桥洞中探出头来的船只，背景是线条描绘的江南，营造出诗人杨万里“我船自向苏州去，白云稳向山头住”的诗意场景。

The wood veneered staircase looks like a bridge in a watery country. Black mirrored marble imitates water, reflecting the ships peeking out of the bridge. 入口处的长台放置着笔墨纸砚。雅集开始，雅士各自挥毫留下名册，兴之所致题词作画互相鉴赏，笔下诞生众多文学瑰宝。Pen, ink, paper and inkstones are placed on the long table at the entrance. Elegant set began, each left the book. Xing caused by the inscription painting mutual appreciation. Many literary treasures were born under his pen.

水吧台由自然肌理的石材打造，为空间增添了一份质朴自然的气息。背后的柜体增添的那一抹红，视觉震撼放大每一位来访者的感官情绪，将所处空间与自然、人文连结起来。

The water bar is made of stone with natural texture, adding a rustic and natural atmosphere to the space. A dash of red on the back of the cabinet creates a visual shock that magnifies the sensory emotions of each visitor, connecting the space with nature and humanity.

游览一番之后引宾客落座，燕雀便栖身在一旁枝头上。洽谈和品茗区由墨竹图案的屏风环绕，仿佛置身于园林自然之中与友人相谈甚欢，茶香四溢间高谈阔论意气风发。

After a tour the guests were seated, The bird perched on a branch beside it, The meeting and tea tasting area is surrounded by a bamboo screen, As if in the nature of the garden and friends talk very happy, The fragrance of tea overflowed with eloquence and high spirits.

吴门琴派焦尾琴，中国古代四大名琴之一。《后汉书·蔡邕传》记载，吴人有烧桐以爨者，邕闻火烈之声知其良木，因请而裁为琴，果有美音而其尾犹焦，故时人名曰焦尾琴焉。空间中置入古琴台，请琴师演奏雅乐，在感官多处启发美的觉悟。
