“Did you eat yet?” （你吃了嘛），asks all Chinese moms when you get home. What kind of food comforts you? The food, the atmosphere and environment also comfort me,it seems like at home when i have a meal in the restaurant.

The time I spend in 13 Factories feel like l am at back in the states. 13Factories becomes my home away from home because of the comforts of food.

The food in 13 Factories doesn't change with the local’s flavor palate. The authentic Southern American tastes are not acceptable to everyone, the owner insists not to adjust the textures and spices to be more Cantonese. Thanks to the owner’s persistence for authenticity, Americans from Southern China can eat the food they miss.

The atmosphere here also makes you feel at home and draws more American Expats  to savor the food and the environment, making it a little USA.  The other diners you meet and talk to almost are Americans or spent time over there. 

The food you eat, the alcohol you drink are totally American style. Immersing in it, feeling the atmosphere and you will get a feeling like you’re at home.
