“The Design Bar is a full-scale restaurant that only exists for one week. This opens a door to many creative possibilities and we really wanted to take advantage of this opportunity and create something exciting. Over the years we have spent many wonderful hours in the Design Bar, and when getting the chance to create our own version we wanted to capture this feeling in our design.

Our ambition was to work from the gut to create a space that feels warm, visual and inviting. We chose to forget words like “attractive”, “smart” and “functional” during our creative process opening up for other keywords and aesthetics. We looked at strong, colourful works from Bofill and Baragan and decided to do a warm tempered zone in the fair in the middle of the harsh and cold Stockholm winter.
我们的目标是从直觉出发,创造一个温暖、视觉和诱人的空间。在我们的创作过程中,我们选择忘记“吸引人”、“聪明”和“功能”这样的词,为其他关键词和美学打开大门。我们看了Bofill和Baragan的精彩纷呈的作品,并决定在斯德哥尔摩严寒的冬天,在集市上做一个温暖的区域。
The palette ranges from light salmon pink and apricot tones, natural terracotta to deep burgundy. The restaurant has 150 places with various seating possibilities arranged in small cosy scenes in the large 600m2 open space.”
