曼谷 Blue Restaurant

位于曼谷一家新开的时尚餐厅Blue Restaurant，由Jouin Manku负责设计。明星大厨Alain Ducasse的每一个项目都是一颗“炸弹”。曼谷的新蓝色餐厅也不例外，它吸引游客不仅是因为它的高级烹饪，也因为它同样高级的设计——来自Jouin Manku。

Jouin Manku designed the Blue Restaurant, a trendy new Restaurant in Bangkok. Every project of celebrity chef Alain Ducasse is a bomb. Bangkok's new blue restaurant is no exception, attracting visitors not only for its haute cuisine but also for its equally sophisticated design -- from Jouin Manku.

这家餐厅位于Iconsiam购物中心，这里不仅以其品牌和餐厅而闻名，还以其令人惊叹的城市全景而闻名。这家餐厅的创始人打算打造一个100%的法国餐厅，以吸引欧洲美食和设计鉴赏家。因此，在项目开始的时候，Jouin Manku Studio提出了一个问题：到底什么才是真正的“法国人”，以及在室内传达这一切的法国身份是什么，避免了陈词滥调。

The restaurant is located in the Iconsiam shopping mall, which is known not only for its brands and restaurants, but also for its breathtaking panoramic views of the city. The owners intend to create a 100 percent French restaurant that will appeal to connoisseurs of European cuisine and design. So, at the beginning of the project, Jouin Manku Studio asked the question of what is really "French" and what is the French identity that conveys it all indoors, avoiding cliches.

因此，“法国”现象被归结为四大要点：凡尔赛花园中的花束、浓郁的“皇家”蓝色、褶皱织物的时尚与艺术、枝形吊灯的辉煌与华丽。设计师决定把所有这些都连接到房间里，这是一个玻璃凉亭，窗户可以俯瞰湄南河。

Thus, the "French" phenomenon is boiled down to four main points: the bouquet of flowers in the gardens of Versailles, the rich "royal" blue, the fashion and art of drape fabrics, and the brilliance and magnificence of the chandeliers. The designer decided to connect all this to the room, a glass pavilion with Windows overlooking the chao phraya river.

根据创始人兼大厨Alain Ducasse的想法，餐厅的客人应该进行一段旅程，从前门开始，以一个宏伟的大厅结束，可以看到曼谷的全景。这趟旅程从大厅开始，大厅里排列着木板，中间是红色的接待台。他们仍然不知道接下来会发生什么，但是入口区域的氛围已经暗示并预示着未来的乐趣。

According to founder and chef Alain Ducasse, guests should take a journey that starts at the front door and ends in a grand hall with panoramic views of Bangkok. The trip begins in the lobby, which is lined with wooden boards and has a red reception desk in the middle. They still don't know what will happen next, but the atmosphere in the entrance area has hinted at and foreshadowed the fun ahead.
