MGY BASE丨teamSTAR

MGY BASE是一家服装品牌的工作室，坐落于涉谷区神宫前的安静的住宅区中。这是一座引人注目的建筑，立面呈箭头形，主楼层的天花板高度为6米，巨大的玻璃幕墙给人一种半室外的感觉。阁楼的金属网丝、工业风的照明、铸铁鹰架风格的家具，注重设计细节，最终实现了客户需求的“秘密基地”。

MGY BASE is an apparel brand office situated in a quiet residential area of Jingumae, Shibuya, Tokyo. It is an eye-catching building with an arrow shape facade. The main floor is 6m high and its huge glass facade gives the impression of semi-outdoor space. Wire mesh used in the loft, industrial taste lighting, iron and scaffold used fixtures, and other details represent the ‘secret base’ the client asked for.

新冠肺炎使我们有机会思考办公空间的更多可能性。人们在特定的场所工作、交流和合作。令人愉悦的、有个性的、有趣的“MGY 基地”工作室空间设计，就是其中一种答案。因此吸引人们聚会、工作的“第三空间”，将是人们追求的未来办公空间。

The Novel coronavirus questions the meaning of office. It was an opportunity to reconsider the reason for people to gather and work in one place. This was an opportunity to rethink the meaning of working and gathering in one place. This comfortable, fun, unique and playful office design is one of the answers. A third-place that makes you want to get together and work. This is what will be required of the office in the future.

Function

独特的外观彰显了品牌形象。主楼的挑高空间给人半室外的感觉，开放感和舒适感消除了办公室固有的沉闷形象。统一的设计理念，使品牌变得有趣，如网状夹层。

Distinctive facade promotes the apparel brand. High ceiling on the main floor reminiscent of the semi-outdoor, providing an open and comfortable atmosphere that eliminates the stuffiness of the office. Unified with design ideas that make the brand playful, such as mesh mezzanine.

客户和伙伴想聚集的地方。员工感到舒适并享受工作的地方。独特并有趣的地方。

A place where the clients and business associates would like to go and want to gather，where the staff feel comfortable and want to work longer. A place that is unique and playful. We designed an office with these three points in mind to give a sense of the brand’s personality.

工作室是体现品牌理念并展示产品的场所。在这里，人们可以感受到设计的品质和趣味性。我们设计了一个工作空间，它是一种“第三空间”，是让人们想聚集和工作的地方。我们相信这将是我们需要的新的工作空间的形式。

The office is a showroom that embodies the brand’s philosophy and is a place where the brand can display its products. It is a place where people can envision the quality and playfulness of the design. We designed an office that is a third-place that makes you want to assemble and work. We believe this is what will be required of the new offices.

“主楼层平时除了作为会议和商谈使用外，也是举办各种季节的活动和聚会的场所，备受员工及客户好评。这就是我们追求的如同秘密基地般的空间。”客户评价说。

The client says ‘’The main floor is usually used for business negotiations and meetings, but it plays a big part in various other activities such as seasonal events and parties, and it’s been well received. It’s the kind of office we were looking for, the kind of a secret base where people want to get together’’.
