作为贯穿阿姆斯特丹中央车站的两条无闸口通道之一,阿姆斯特丹通道项目中连接市中心与IJ河区的IJ通道已于2015年6月1日在阿姆斯特丹中央车站内正式开通。在未来还会通过加装检票闸机来进一步完善这两条通道。阿姆斯特丹通道项目中不仅配有独具特色、简洁优雅的各式商店与餐厅,整个布局也创造出了一个与喧嚣的通勤人流完全隔离开的休闲空间。这一彻底区别于通勤区域设计的通道设计,由Benthem Crouwel Architects , Powerhouse Company,和Merk X共同完成。

Masterplan Amsterdam Central Station unfolds
On the 1st of June, 2015, the IJ-passage of the Amsterdam Passages project has been officially opened at Amsterdam Central Station. This is the first of two new, gate-free passageways through Amsterdam Central Station, in the future to be secured with public transport fare gates. The Amsterdam Passages are provided with a distinctive, elegant offer of shops and restaurants, laid out as a leisurely place well-separated from the noisy traveller crowd. The Passages’ design is radically different from that of the travellers’ area and was created by Benthem Crouwel Architects , Powerhouse Company and Merk X.

精选的高端零售店和相称的建筑风格反映出了通道鲜明的特征。在全角LED介绍屏幕、自动扶梯以及带有黄铜边角的楼梯的吸引下,到访者将被引导着穿过三扇历史悠久的砖砌拱门,随即进入到这片面积为3700平米的全新地下购物区中。现代与经典、传统与高科技在这里相互交融。通道的设计围绕着通过精雕细琢的细节、环境照明以及舒适的天花板高度来营造奢华且富有沉浸感的体验而展开。附加在内的一座香槟吧台和商店橱窗内精美陈列的物品,也均为通道内注入着经典的元素和不同的体验。
The Passages distinctive character is reflected by the selection of high-end retailers and a matching architectural approach. Attracted by full-width LED introductory screens, escalators and brass-edged steps, visitors are guided through three historic brick arches into the new 3,700m2 underground shopping area. Inside, contemporary blends with classic, traditional with high-tech. The Passages’ design is based around creating a sumptuous and immersive experience through finely crafted details, ambient lighting and intimate ceiling heights. The addition of a champagne bar counter and beautifully displayed objects in shop windows attribute to class and experience.

Glass and timber or steel shop façades run on either side of a generous concourse towards the IJ-river. For these façades inspiration was drawn from old shop fronts in city centres, fraternally juxtaposing individual façades to form a single flowing handwriting. A colour sequence has been specifically developed to highlight the individual shops within the row. Along the central axis, lantern-topped polished concrete columns intersect the space alternately with bespoke Statuario Venato marble benches. Chrome details, marble cladding and dark materials evoke a romantic street at night, while the striking compressed-glass lighting ornaments around the columns add a hint of 1920s Paris. The benching, integrated with soft leather cushions, encourages visitors to sit back and relax.

通道的吊顶由与墙壁分离的大平板组成,并有车站中既有的天蓬椽条点缀其中。火车站独有的氛围也通过这一方式向通道持续发挥着影响。这些吊顶平板由特殊制成并吊起的窄条组成,收纳着各种照明设备、扬声器以及洒水器,并将它们从人们的视线中隐去,同时也省去了其他面板要将这些技术设备囊括其中的麻烦。
The Passages’ ceilings consist of large surfaces left free from the façades, interspersed with remaining parts of the train station’s canopy rafters. In this way also in the passages the railway ambiance keeps exerting its influence. These ceiling surfaces comprise specifically finished, raised narrow strips that withdraw the various devices for lighting, loudspeakers and sprinklers from sight. This leaves the other panels free from technical parts.

作为第一条通道的IJ通道将专门供奢华时尚的服装店所用。其暗色的地板加工营造出了休闲区域独有的氛围与温暖。瓷砖铺砌的路面由黄铜边角精加工而成,赋予了地面深度、细节与魅力。
位于东面的第二条通道——阿姆斯特尔通道——预计将于2016年年底完工,重点为新鲜食物和当代美食所用。在IJ通道开通后,带有检票闸机的阿姆斯特丹中央车站将允许到访者在不乘坐公共交通的情况下也可随意免费进入,为车站提供了独特的购物与停留区域。
The first passage, the IJ-passage, is dedicated to luxury fashion and clothing boutiques. Its dark floor finishing creates the atmosphere and warmth pertaining to a leisure area. The ceramic tile pavement has been finished with yellow brass edges bestowing it with scale, detail and allure.
The second passage on the east side, Amstel-passage is expected to be completed at the end of 2016 and focusses on fresh food and contemporary cuisine. After the opening of the IJ-passage, Amsterdam Central Station is to remain freely accessible in spite of the public transport fare gates, providing the station with a unique domain for shopping and lingering.
