QBE keeps growing as a leading international insurer and reinsurer with offices across twenty-seven (27) countries.  Driven by its purpose, QBE enables clients and employees for a more resilient future.  QBE engaged MCX Interior to help them upgrade their Hong Kong office environment to become more responsive to their employees' professional and personal needs and attract, motivate and retain their best employees.

The renovation included a complete overhaul of one floor to create a new welcoming customer corner and dynamic workspace for QBE employees to feel empowered to work.

The design of the customer corner creates a visual impact upon arrival with a circular-shaped ceiling fixture and a round carpet detailing on the floor that mirrors the ceiling feature and makes an open lounge space with various furniture settings for informal meetings to spark users’ collaborative drives and enhance the sense of community.

The design of the customer corner creates a warm and welcoming space by infusing a touch of hospitality with inviting soft furnishings, a pantry for refreshments, a media wall and easy access to meeting rooms.  Users can access various amenities within reach and this flexible space can cater to town halls and other events.

The new dynamic work area also boasts similar circular themed ceiling fixtures, with complementary round-shaped workstations and biophilic elements, creating a vibrant and fluid workplace experience.

The design promotes wellness by opening more window space along the perimeter to bring in more natural light and offer a stunning view of Hong Kong's central business district.

MCX Interior's redesign of QBE's existing office offers a new welcoming and engaging customer corner and dynamic workspace solution to empower their team for a more resilient future.
