Opened on November 2014, in Porto Alegre City, the beauty salon Kapo has a building area of 110m² and 2 patios totaling 103m² The project proposal was to create a fluid space where architecture was the protagonist, revealed in minimalist colors and lines, without many decorative elements and were the garden could always be seen. With a palette of neutral tones, with strength in gray, black and white, with touches of blue and leather, the single-story building with large windows it’s composed by 3 featured spaces: reception and 2 large treatment rooms. At the reception what gets our attention is the white marble sculpture with geometric lines and the 2 blue Womb armchairs.
The 2 rooms though similar personality they have a sutil touch that differentiate them. The main room, directed for the haircuts, is subtly more industrial, with mirrors in straight lines, adorned with iron bars in black tone. The curtains and the leather armchairs brings a natural cosines for the room. The other, dedicated to makeup and hairstyles, contemporary look with subtle reference to the dressing tables of the 1960s, with feet stick and round mirrors. Another highlight is the lighting that creates an exciting game lines on the ceiling at the same time illuminating, creates an identity of the space. In one of the rooms this lights go down by the wall defining the limits of each work area. The light becomes the decoration, strengthening the architecture as protagonist.
