Studio is situated in a 140 year old house, where many previous owners renovated walls, floors, ceiling, installations and windows in a way that was not respectful to the building or history of the house. When the drywall was took down there was clearly too much damage done to the original lime layer, so it could not be restored. Eventually everything was strip down and a new layer of lime plaster was put on walls, clay plaster on ceiling. Walls were then painted with layer of clay paint. So the shell was restored in a very respectful way. All the furniture in the studio is from clients forest, which had to be cut down due to new highway plans in the area.
